Naps, done well
A short nap can restore alertness. A long one late in the day can make it harder to fall asleep at night.
If you nap, keep it to about 20 to 30 minutes and take it in the early afternoon, when many people feel a natural dip.
If you find you need a long nap every day, mention it to your doctor.
