Hospitals that never go dark

Patients in intensive care often spend days under constant light and noise. Day and night blur together.

That makes it harder for the body to keep time just when it most needs to heal. Bright days and dark nights are a design choice hospitals can make.

Light is a medicine that costs almost nothing. We should use it with the same care as any other.
