Diabetes and the body clock

Your body handles sugar differently at different times of day. For many people, the same meal raises blood glucose more in the evening than in the morning.

Poor sleep and late eating can make this worse, even over a few days. That is one reason I wrote The Circadian Diabetes Code.

A regular eating window, morning light and good sleep can work alongside the care plan from your doctor. They are not a replacement for it.
